Jacking Points

PostPost by: chrishewett » Sun Aug 29, 2004 8:11 pm

I have just replaced the inner sill members on my +2 and I notice that the jacking points are open and will allow mud and water into the sills. Was there originally some means of covering the hole? Any ideas?

Hi Chris,

The jacking points on the sills were covered with a large rubber grommet. I bought my last lot from a unipart / rover dealer some time ago as I think they were the same size as those used on an old triumph or the like. Sorry I cannot be more specific.
