CVs Are Winners

I've just installed a CV kit from Croucher Engineering and am absolutely delighted with the result - so much tighter, with better gear changes and a more robust feel overall.

I'll keep the Rotoflexs and shafts but, if anyone is wondering whether the CVs are worth it, you are unlikely to look back. Thanks to those who helped with advice along the way.

Best regards

I have CV's on mine as well and the are the only way to go. Best conversion you can do on a Elan in my humble opinion. Next conversion is to get rid of the Stromberg Carbs and Head. Can't wait for the parts to arrive from the U.K.

Oh you're gonna wait alright, and you're also gonna pay ...both freight and tax not to mention currency conversion.....
Have a look at John McCoy's operation in Bellingham Wash for the Weber conversion if it's not too late

I have already paid for the parts, just waiting for them to arrive and yes the currancy conversion is scary but that is okay. The twin cam needs to breathe like it was intended. BTW I own a CNC equiped machine shop I make alot of parts for British cars, need to find items I can make for Lotus as well as the parts we make for MG and Triumph. If you got any ideas let me know.

Geoff,

For all of us Stromberg owners who binned the crossover pipes, how about the European balance tube?
