PostPost by: Meegulthwarp » Fri May 04, 2007 10:08 am

Anyone know where Lotus got the gear lever rubber(1971 Elan Sprint S4) from?
Or what replacements can be obtained nowadays?

Thanks in advance,
Tim

I keep getting them from Paul Matty.
I keep getting them because they do not last long before they split.

:-(

Anyone got an old one made of actual rubber?

My replacement gear lever boot allegedly came from a Hillman hunter. It does the job very well.

Posting this for johnC due to picture issue and with Johns comments:

"Rob & ross say they were from Hillman Hunter/super minx ? I got this from Minx (hunter shape). Does it look right - should it be rectangular at the base ? "
