Tranny bolt pattern, front and rear

Thanks! I love machining, they are my favorite toys. If it ever came down to it I would part with every Lotus I have before I would ever be without a machine.

Chuck, I set up the gbox on my CNC and have acquired the necessary front and rear X-Y coordinates if anyone needs them. Chopped off a shanked bolt so not 100% accurate but probably close enough.

Nice! For the bigger bores I like using this tool for sweeping them to find the center.

The "Last Word" pictured has a bunch of extensions to accommodate larger bores.

Ah I have heard about those but I have yet to play with one. Very nice.

What motor and batter set are you going with? I have thought about doing an electric lotus that could be a solar fueled grocery getter and double as a powerwall incase we have another blackout here in Texas...

The motor will be the Hyper 9 and batteries from a Tesla S/X. Will mimic what Mark Sanders of Poole, UK has done https://mas-design.com/lotus-elon/
