Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

Hi, I'm trying to test my generator / dynamo using the procedure suggested in the workshop manual. That is removing both connections and shorting them with a piece of wire then using a meter measure between point D and earth. Question is I cannot make out any markings on my generator so does anyone know if point D is the large or small terminal ?

"D" is the large terminal (brown & yellow wire)
"F" is the small terminal (brown & green wire)
