I used the 40 amp Kubota unit and mounted it to the original dynamo bracket-I added a small bracket at the front but I am not sure I needed to. 40 amps is double what the car had when new. The shop that supplied the alternator removed the yellow wire-said I didn't need it and I just have the green wire hooked up to an ignition source-plus the power wire of course. Very inexpensive installation.
