washer button

PostPost by: lotusbzz » Wed May 08, 2019 4:14 pm

hallo my Friends!
anybody can help me to wire the washer button of my S4?
this is what I can do to make it running but just one speed, the second speed is missing ( no idea if it's the fast or slow speed) .
1) when the button in all down everything is off
2) first click : the washer works
3) when the button is all up nothing works
4) switching from all up to all down the park works and moves the arm to park position

Just been through this myself...This is from my Federal Sprint:

& from my notes I have:

Terminal 1 = Gr/Wh = +12v Supply
Terminal 2 = Gr/Br = Fast
Terminal 5 = Gr/R = Park
Terminal 6 = U/Gr = Slow

Looking at the picture that Phil has just posted you can see that the two middle terminals are connected together . It's not totally clear from your picture , but your switch appears to have separate terminals . Maybe connecting them together will get your wipers working properly?
