Elan Plus 2 engine bay lighrts

I am trying to get the engine bay lights working: on my +2 S130/4 (three engine bay fusebox wiring version) there are wires to both light units in the engine bay inner wings, but the push switch on the front edge of the bonnet which I would assume to make the circuit to earth when released has no wires to it. Can anyone explain how I can wire this switch into the engine bay lights wiring.to get the lights working.Thx.
