Yes, I have one in my Sprint. It's the Speedbox by Speedhut. I didn't order any speedo cable because
they're fixed length and I wasn't sure where this box was going to reside. Once I determined that,
I measured the distance needed and took the Speedbox and another speedometer I had on the shelf
(AFTER making sure it had the same threads in the back) to a local speedo repair place and had a
custom cable made.
If the battery has been disconnected for a length of time, say, a week, I try to connect the battery as
soon as I know I'm going out in the car, otherwise it takes about a mile or so for the GPS signal to
'catch up'. It all works great.

Nothing. This Speedbox uses the original speedometer. I'm running T5 and there is no room for
any access to the tailshaft for anything driven from the transmission. I put a plug in the hole in the
tailshaft. The Speedbox uses a stepper motor (I think) to drive the cable vs a drive gear in the transmission.
