rear light special tool

PostPost by: Sottisier » Thu Mar 28, 2024 4:40 am

Hello. I have removed the rear light assemblies so that I can clean between the outer clear plastic cover and the light units themselves.
Each assembly is held together with 4 metal clips top and bottom, so I need to release these.
Is there a special tool for this?
If not, could anyone who has done this job please give me some tips on how to do it and avoid breaking the clips or damaging the units, and also getting the clips back on again.
Thanks

I think you’re describing the rear lights of an Elan M100.
If so, you’re on the wrong forum.
