Twincam Engine Dimensions.

PostPost by: berni29 » Tue Feb 01, 2005 11:05 pm

Hi There

I am in need of the twin cam engines dimensions excluding ancillaries. I would measure mine, but it is dark and cold out and I need them now to order a boxed pallet. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Many thanks!

Zetec+ 2 under const, also 130S. And another 130S for complete restoration. Previously Racing green +2s with green tints. Yellow +2 and a couple of others, all missed. Great to be back 04/11/2021 although its all starting to get a bit out of control.

Hi

Yes, its sump head flywheel and clutch assembly, but I will add on a bit for luck. Just the height width and length would be great. If you have the weight I will pass that information on as well.

Many thanks

Berni,
My engine is currently on an engine stand and easy to measure, But the flywheel and clutch are not in place. Also, no intake manifold and carbs and no exhaust manifold.
Diminsions are: 22" long, 17"wide, 23" high. Add 4" for clutch and flywheel.
I would add 3" for crate sizing.
