Low Oil Pressure at Low RPMs

I am breaking in my engine after a complete rebuild. I have driven it about 275 miles. I have been keeping the rpm at 3000 during this period. I noticed today the oil pressure gauge is reading between 10 and 20 lbs at 1000 rpm idle. While running at speed it reads around 50 lbs. The gauge does not seem to move as smoothly as it once did.

Unless you have a high pressure pump your readings are well within spec and are very good, I doubt you have any problems at all.
