After much thought, today I decided to remove the dashboard from the Elan, with a view to judging the condition of the wiring loom. Below is a video of the removal and the condition of the loom and some of the switches and components

Great timing! I plan on removing my dashboard next weekend to overhaul the heater assembly & replace the dash/engine bay harness connector.

I enjoyed the video, keep them coming!

I'll also be removing the heater. The Fan may need attention, if it's that that's caused damage to the switch.

I am looking for a heater if anyone has one...?
