Lotus Elan

Wiper assembly

PostPost by: Famous Frank » Tue Oct 22, 2019 8:43 pm

Wanted - Wiper assembly. Preferably the entire assembly. I have just purchased an S2 LHD Elan that was last raced and driven in 1967. My rebuild is to bring it back to the same way it left the factory. When being raced in 1967 the assembly was obviously removed and somehow disappeared over the last 53 years. Imagine that!

All I have is the switch. Everything else is missing.

As always, Thank you!

Ted,

You are correct, I need to look at your site more often. I did check it out this time. The two wiper assemblies you have shown are for a +2 and a Europa. Not for an S2 Elan.

Thank you.

are you sure? or just going by what I posted? i'm not 100% certain myself. is there a difference? is there a measurement or mounting that determines which is which someone can authoritatively share/explain?

Frank, you may benefit from habitually looking at the top of the page to see if you have any messages. Top of the page next to your name, says MESSAGES. John
