Does anyone have a spare cover/cap for the starter pinion?

Get a Cortina or other Ford one and modify it (to clear the chassis/ body).

I'm actually looking for one for my Seven, which came without. Not much English Ford stock over here so was hoping someone in this community might have a spare or a lead. Mine is pre-crossflow 116E engine mated to a 105E gearbox.

Sadly I think it might be the smaller pinion cover. Have a check.

I think I am still using a Coca-Cola tin, but I haven't looked recently to see if it has fallen out.

Great spot! As BRG commented it is the smaller size, but that is exactly what I need for my Seven. I've asked if they'll ship overseas - if not may need one of my UK friends for some acquisition assistance.

Hang on Henry! I didn’t realize you needed the smaller sized cover. I have one and don’t need it. I can post it to you when I’m next in the States (next month).
