On the hook for a Coat Hook...

Anyone got the official Lotus Coat hook that they would part with?

I'm still finishing up my 71 Plus 2 Restoration, and I've searched the parts tubs that came with the car.
It appears only one original coat hook, has survived over the years. So I am searching. It doesn't have to be perfect, but a genuine Lotus part is preferred. Thanks guys. Cheers, Mike

Yes thanks. They are 45 bucks each. I have been recently somewhat disappointed with the quality, durability and fit of the aftermarket products from SJ. I would prefer an authentic Lotus part in this case. But thanks!

Perhaps you could have the existing one, scanned for 3D then fresh one(s) made by 3D printing a wax /plastic version, then use that to make a mould to cast replicas with metal.


There must be lots of 3D printer enthusiasts around by now prepared to tackle such a problem.

Maybe the existing one could be used to make a mould to make the process simpler.

I’ve seen Lotus enamel pin badges stuck on the head of a bolt that look very close to the originals.
