Nearing final assembly- Some Elan PLUS 2 bits still needed!

Hello everyone,

My '71 Lotus Elan plus 2S 130 is actually nearing a fairly completed stage. Just two items I've yet to obtain.

Need some presentable Sun Visors- Mine are in bad shape after 50 years. (aftermarket components too pricey.$)

-And still looking for some clean presentable Roof Gutter Rails.

Following these bits, the car will be about 99 and 44/100 done. Any help on this remaining stuff would be very much appreciated. Thanks guys,

...Looking for the small hookwires attaching bits that screw onto the underside of the roof that are used to hold the headliner hoops on.

Can't help with the other stuff but these "hookwires" are dead easy to DIY. Here are two links with good photos.

I don't have my clips at hand but I would think that some forty thousandths SS safety wire would do the trick and not rust or maybe something a wee bit stouter.

I made mine out of Nickel Bronze welding rod - I'd guess about 1.6mm dia.

Thank you kindly for the suggestions. I am going to attempt to make some hookwires tonight!
