Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

I would be most appreciative if someone with an S2 could measure the clearance between the airbox and the inner fender. I know it varies because of the angle that the inner fender makes to the centerline and the shape of the airbox, but I need a rough idea. Would measure myself, but the engine is out of my car. Thanx in advance. Jerry.

my stock air box is 4 inches at the rear of the air box 3 inches in the middle and 2 inches at the intake curve from the fender inside wall--- ed
