Throttle Spring Anchorage

I have just found that the Throttle return spring has popped off its anchorage, not at the carburettor end but where the other end locates. That's my problem, WHERE DOES THE OTHER END locate. I guess it is somewhere on the web coming off the airbox between the two carburettors (delortos) but I can't find a hole or any other way of securing it. Help or pictures would be most appreciated.

Roy,
The bracket coming of the airbox backing plate has a hole in it just near where the end of the cable fits into (nipple) The spring goes in this hole.

Found it thanks (hidden effectively by throttle cable) Having fought the spring back in the only other question is hoe the hell did it pop out!

Thanks Brian.

Roy,
What I found to be more reliable and 'tunable' is two short, generic throttle return springs mounted on a piece of strap metal that goes between the two carbs. I have a piece about 1/2" wide, maybe 8" long and shaped like this: _/\_
The ends are mounted to the carbs and the peaked middle section has two holes drilled in it (on either side of the peak) for the two springs. The springs then are mounted down where the throttle cable sheath terminates.

You've got backup if one of the springs break and you can play with the spring tension for throttle feel. Hope this helps and is not too confusing!

I've been advised to install a double spring arrangement for safety (in case the spring breaks or becomes unfastened). I've also been told that the single spring is not allowable for SCCA racecars. It's currently # 216 on my do-list.
