S4 Stromberg Car - master cylinder/carbs clearance

S4 owners; can anyone tell me how much clearance there is between the top of the standard single style brake master cylinder and the carbs?

My car is in pieces and I am trying to work out whether a certain dual master cylinder would work.

Carbs are on the other side of...oh...right. :roll:
