Weber 40dcoe 18 Trumpet lenght

Hi

Is there a big difference between the 1.5 trumpet or the 1.75 trumpet in the engine behavior? I should have the 1.75 for my 40dcoe18.
I have measured but I don’t know what is the correct measure..
Are my trumpets 1.5 or 1.75?

if your airbox does not impede the airflow, I would not say "big", rather that the difference would be hard to notice just driving the car on the road.

basically, the longer the trumpets, the lower rpm at which comes the help from pulse induction (conversely shorter trumpet giving higher power at high rpm), but all else being equal the net effect would most likely be less than 5% imho
