What in the heck is going on here?

Bet I'm seeing the ability of the emulsion to EXTINGUISH the smallest vacuum load extremely efficiently. Comes back to an issue of the gasoline's vapor pressure properties. I'm modeling the plastic test well right now and the answer just popped into my head while I wasn't concentrating about it. Funny how that happens. :D

Noticed a quirky problem with the one main jet/air corrector combination I've found which doesn't lean completely out when at WOT when pulling above 5k rpms. Pulling up a slight incline at WOT in third gear it will occasionally exhaust a hugh plume of black smoke. Normally my car emits no smoke of any kind. I don't have the AFM attached at the moment so I don't know what the mixture actually is when it does this. Best guess is it's around 5:1. Can only get it to do this on this one stretch of roadway. Any steeper incline and it won't exhibit this problem. It runs great but the plume is a bit of an embarassment. Pretty certain effect this can be attributed to a sudden change from one flow domain to another. Now I know why power valves came into being. Hmmm....I wonder if they can be retrofitted onto the DCOE's by way of the bottom cover?

Tried out the acrylic well and it seems to work to perfection. I'm getting totally bizarre and unexpected results. Behavoir I did not anticipate. It definitely is dominated by two phase flow though but it happens too fast for me to tell exactly what type it is. Maybe my digital camera which takes movies can slow it down enough for an observation.

Got an anniversary party I have to attend so I don't have the time to elaborate right now. Here's some teasers though. The fuel level in the float bowl has almost no influence whatever and the fuel level in the well never drops down to the main jet. Yippee, doing this simple experiment is not a total waste of time afterall! :D :D :D
