Anyone know of the part number for the plastic reservoir on the brake master? Dual one, elan plus 2 1969. I need one now and was hoping the local shop could order it.

Pegasus Racing has some Girling reservoirs. Don't know if they have your particular model...

Hi Andrew

Is this what you are looking for (See pic)?

If so it has a Girling logo and number 64473668 stamped on it.

Makka Pakka always wants to get into the photos, he is such a pain

Hope this helps

Jason

If you are looking for the Girling dual cyl., Is it this one. Cyl. number is 64676597030, the reservoir is 64476296 and the cover is 64473687.

This is from a 1969 +2 Fed. car. I looked in a number of older part books (1965-1976), I could not find what else it goes to. I did not have a Girling parts books of that age.

Best of luck

Bill

Bill,

that looks like the unit. I'll have to go home to check the id numbers, but i think there are only two that look like that, the difference being the bores. Are you selling that one or just showing it to me for reference.

I dont think i made myself clear on my original post. My M/C was leaking and had a rusted out bore plus the reservoir was cracked, so i needed new, both, fast. I was hoping someone had a cross-reference number i could take down to the local napa and they could have one for me next day...

No such luck. Turns out these things are no longer made and there doesn't seem to be a modern replacement. I'll look into that at the local junk yard, but seems for now we have to get them sleeved and then drilled out for remote reservoirs.

Thanks everyone for their help.

- believe AP Racing deliver a modern replacement. Try "googeling them".

This master needs rebuilding too. I had a hard time finding a rebuilt kit so I when to a single master using only one booster. The brakes still work just great.
