I am buying a lotus elan sprint year 1971 sold to US and returnd to Italy in 1989. The wheels ar black. is it normal?

Black wheels are normal for a Sprint. Should also have chrome trim rings.

I believe that only black and silver were options on the Sprint. Some people painted them gold, too.

My personal choice is black with the chrome rimbellishers.
