Mintex Classic brake pads

I'm looking for new front pads for my +2S. Usual suspects stock EBC Ultimax2 and greenstuff but I've seen reports of them breaking up, and Jeremy's (JJDraper) recent post makes me think twice about fitting them. Searching the web, I've found these (yes, they're out of stock but available elsewhere):

Does anybody have experience or opinions of these? Only information on the MX4597 compound I can find says it "sits in between the range of standard pads and the M1144 material".

For the 2 seater, not the +2?

Thanks for the link. I've asked them a question (via the website). Mintex M1144 pads available for the Triumph GT6 indicates that they're only available for metric calipers. For type 16P and 16PB with 1/4" pins you need to drill the holes out :?

Got a reply back within 15 minutes  "Sorry these are for the smaller diameter pins."

BTW, the supplier, with "more than 10" in stock on the website, does in fact have none at all...

Draenog,

That explains why I had to drill the holes in the EBC Greenstuff supplied by TTR!

...never occured to me there are imperial and metric versions
