Steering Wheel Plus 2

PostPost by: NYK » Thu Dec 05, 2019 5:47 pm

I have decided to go for a walnut Moto-Lita steering wheel https://www.moto-lita.co.uk/steering-wh ... ilters=506
I?ve never driven the car so have no real idea about best size, but I?m guessing flat rather than dished but not sure if I should go for 14? or 15?.
Any thoughts?

Those wheels have a very large center bolt pattern which may not fit your current hub.

I need to replace the boss as the one on the car seems distorted. There is a compatible boss on eBay I think is fine. The problem I found having spent 2 hours looking for walnut steering wheels is that there seems to be very limited choice.

Les, that looks a very nice interior, are you using a 15? wheel?

15" and dished to suit your arm length...

15 inch not dished. One thing with wooden wheels they can be cold.

It will only get used on nice warm days, do you find the 15? wheel about right?

Standard size on the +2, no problems in use. Woodrim wheels always look classic. Bought mine to replace the Eclat steering wheel that had been fitted by p.o.. Bought it from Moss Europe in their sale.
