Rear Hub Nut S1/2

Can anyone confirm that the rear hub nut on a S1/2 (bolt on wheels) is a 5/8 unf nut and not a "special nut". Dont know if its the same as S3/4's with knock-ons.

Brian,
Just rebuilt my rear hubs and had to buy a die to repair threads. It is a 5/8 by 18 UNF. The original nut is a speacial only because of the shoulder washer being part of the nut. I used a new nylon lock nut with a heavey machinery washer and for a safty measure applied lock tight.
