Early +2's With Bolt On Wheels ?

<_<
Gidday,
Could be wrong on this but did not the early +2's have bolt on wheels ?
I have an early +2S with knock ons but would prefer to use Superlite wheels of 14 or 15" dia. This is one of the fall downs of the +2 aesthetically, the wheels look like roller skates.
So bolt ons or not ? If not then I want to convert, Trumpy front hubs and if I have to I will turn rear hubs from billet. Real keen for a responce to my liking !!
See ya, Les

lotus used the knock ons........bolt ons were an owner modification.....lotus had their own patented 5 peg drive hub thing.........you can however get the knock on minilites......they just have the drive peg hole in the back of the alloy rather than the big bolt on holes through the wheel..........its so much faster to change the wheels with the knock on hubs too.....I prefer the knock ons......dont know about everyone else
