Sarto's tool has arrived. I can report that it is well made, and removed & refixed the spinner on my Minilites without any problems. Cannot say for the standard steel wheels, because I've loaned out my jacks, but Sarto says he has tested them anyway.

As to price:

Price will be RRP US $ 130 less 15% for bulk purchase.
Mine shipped for $ 12.80, so bulk should be less.
Customs and Excise let it through, but that's no guarantee for next time.
UK p&p will be ?4.85 (which includes ?1 for ?100 insurance).

Working on a $1.95 / ?1 conversion, I make the purchase and shipping charge to be ?63.23, + ?4.85 = ?68.08

So, best I can say until they arrive, is that they'll be ?68.08 less a little US postage, plus whatever C&E / Vat is levied.

Would anyone who wants one (including those who've already expressed interest) please email me confirmation.

Stuart.

Just an update:

The spinner removal tools should be here by the end of the month.

If anyone else is interested, there are still 3 or 4 available. Please pm me for details.

Regards,
Stuart.

Hello Stuart,
I've just sent you a p.m. requesting a spinner removal tool, but I'm not sure it was successfully sent. Please could you confirm its receipt (or otherwise...)
Thanks

Stuart, an up date of your bulk order, The new run of knockoff spinner tools are going to the chrome plating shop and should be completed in the next few days.
Sorry for the delay but the machine shop was a little backed up. My first run had sold out and I had to wait for the new ones. They will be glass blasted then chromed for a more uniform finish.

Thanks again, Sarto

Hi Thor, Yes I did re-shape the tip of the tool so that it was flat to the wheel. When I get them back I was going to ship one to you to try on your alloys. SEE PICTURE
There is a ring or spacer the fits in the center of the wheel that is to protect the softer alloy from the hard spinner. You can see what the spacer looks like on my panasports. It appears that some of the 10 spoke alloys like yours have different thicknesses. The thinner spacers sets the spinner very close to the wheel. I ground off the leading edge of the knockoff tool so that it is now flat to the wheel and hopefully that was enough to clear your wheel with it's size spacer.
Not all touched at full torque, they may have thicker spacers.

We'll talk later. Sarto

Notice the spacer or shim that is just behind the spinner. That spacer holds the spinner out enough the clear the wheel spokes on the panasports. Still not very much room to hit it with a hammer and not damage the wheel.

That sounds great, Sarto, would be good to try the new type, as if you look at the pictures from Donington, there are a LOT of +2s in the UK with the black/polished alloys,:
Except for Panasports and other expensive alternatives, they are the only ones available new at this moment in time. And there's no spacer, the spinner sits completely flat against the alloys..
