Sarto, are you going to come up with something for us hex nut guys with Panasports? I'm ready to fab up something I have in mind but you do much better work.

Hi Greg, I do not have one for the octagon nuts but JAS has beat you to it, he has the best designed one that I've seen, pure quality!! It misses the spokes on the Panasports wheels. I believe he has some available for sale. I have seen a finished one that uses a bar and a different design for a socket attachment type. A Picture tells the story

Hello all Octagon spinner users!

As Sarto wrote I have made a tool to help us get these spinners on and off without scratching the chrome and rims.

The tool is made from anodised high grade aluminium and the through hole is ?26mm for a steel tube, steel tube not included.
It will come with a tough bag for storage.

Price ex. postage $100 or ?70 or ?81

Send me a PM or write it here if you are interested.

Cheers
Jannik

Had to 'mend' my Lotus original as it wasn't up to the job - had gone round!:
Took a while to drill and file the lump of steel, but was well worth it, not so pretty, but cost null!

Yep that will work too.
Now you just have to have your sister make you a bag like I did

A pouch? I though this was the Elan site? Wot's next, a nose cover for the car, another pouch in the boot for the car cosmetics, seat warmers, cruise control....

Hi everyone,
well i've just bought a hexagonal nut spinner tool from Jannik (jas) and it's super. It only took 4 days to arrive and at last i can think about rechroming the spinner nuts. After spending all the winter recommisioning an Elan +2s130 which had been garaged for 23 Years. Then a body and paint job, to rechrome the spinner nuts will be the finishing touch. Now when i need to remove the wheels there will be no risk of damaging the chrome plated nuts

Just got mine !o!

Thanks Jannik .... It was great removing my Titanic Spanner from the boot and replacing it with your featherweight work of art ; ) .

All I need now is a jack/handle that doubles up as a bar for the tool and I`m flyin`: ) .

Thanks Again ,

Paul .

Just got my tool today. Looks and works great! I was always afraid of nicking the spokes of my Panasports with my stock tool but no worries with this one.
Thanks Sarto and Jannick! :D
