Usefull tools

A decent drill press, an angle grinder with some thin slitting discs, floodlights on stands, a good set of HSS drills, and, as already mentioned a set of Halfords 150 piece Professional range sockets and spanners - often on offer for a measly ?100 and an absolute nailed on bargain at that.

I also have a 1000 lumen Hope LED head torch which I use for mountain biking but which also comes in amazingly useful for working on the car - mind at ?250 it's not exactly cheap

I have been looking at some car ramp which have hydraulic lifters - they look brilliant and are next on the list but at around ?450 I need to choose the right moment. A real problem with working on the +2 is lifting it as the car has very few safe jacking points

These things are useful when you need 'em. The shaft is flexible and I've managed to retrieve all sorts of stuff from nefarious places...and it doesn't stick to the sides like a magnetic version.
