I actually considered something very similar except "mine" had holes in the end of the bar to take the winch attachment. Even having both brackets on a side connected by a length of scaffold pole so one winch would lift one side.

What put me off in not knowing the strength of the cill strengtheners to a twisting moment. Obviously it works very well. Good Job!

Yes, I would certainly only recommend this body lifting method after confirmation of having good sill inserts. Mine were renewed before I did this.
I also think the scaffold tube attaching the brackets each side is a good idea for a safer job.

Thanks for the information Kev. I am considering doing it via similar method but with engine host to lift body. Which probably isn't ideal but it's the tool I have access to.
