Did they stipulate that cars must come from the age range eligible for HSCC events this time? I'm an HSCC member and seem to recall some noise about the number of Proton Elise/Exiges and other new-fangled devices that were "parading" last time.

Pete
the problem in 2005 was the Mazda boys with the 300 zx turbos who managed to pusg there way in and then start taking their interior out to make it lighter....they thought they were getting a free track day...spoilt it for everyone....hence their reason for not doing it last year
I believe this year (or rather I suggested to them) that it is to be cars of a similar age to that racing.......ie period cars for period racing......
so to answer your question probably no elise on track...
cheers
Gareth
