A logical name of course would be the Lotus Electric.

Or picking up the trend started by Apple, the eLectric.

Hmmm:

eUropa, eLan, eLite, eXcel, eLise...

Given Lotus history of sourcing parts from other cars:

Surely ... Eclectic

To be a Lotus it will have to be novel and incorporate clever features,
hence....

Eccentrick.

Electron, combining the three elements of the 'E' naming obsession, 'electric' for the motive power source and 'Proton' for the parent company... making one word that also signifies the carrier of energy and is a particle that is very lightweight. Only my guess.. however the name has already been used on an electric car with some Lotus sponsorship.
