Final goodbye on here!

I've 'met' some super people on here and I thank you all for your help and support in the past. You made my restoration possible and that's something I'm very grateful for.

Thanks Jeff, you run a great site.

Kev.

I use RSS with Feedly to read the titles of posts here. So who ever you are complaining about is unknown to me and will continue to be unless he improves the title of his posts to draw me in. Give it a try.

Well - I guess you can call me "Clueless in the Colonies" 'cause I don't know who your talking about.

I must not be prone to reading irrelevant to me posts - but I don't condemn the forum for it.

Posts from particular people can be supressed on this site. I forget how, probably in ones personal profile, but hopefully Jeff will advise him and perhaps advise his nemesis.

Forum Profile->Friends & Foes->Manage Foes

"Foes are users which will be ignored by default. Posts by these users will not be fully visible. Personal messages from foes are still permitted. Please note that you cannot ignore moderators or administrators."

Overly zealous moderation has destroyed the whole thread imho. Yes I agree that positively identifying the poster that had upset Kev even though he hasn't actually been named as such is against the rules and spirit of the site. The gist of the post has gone too. Objecting to a style or frequency of posting in general should perhaps be allowed as long it doesn't directly identify or am I wrong on this?

I saw the initial post prior to being edited. Very clear who it was aimed at.

Having looked at posts made by kevj in the past, and some comments, i fail to see his justification. In fact he was down right rude. So if he wants to leave so be it.

draenog,
Thank you, I did not know about that. I have done it.
It appears to be easily reversible.
I'll see if it goes a bit quieter round here. Let me know if I am missing anything interesting !

As indicated by other members, it was a very direct attack at one member. The comments were removed.

You can discuss anything. You can have passionate conversations. Be civil.
