Shot by a Porsche fan, or maybe a Dan Gurney fan? Why is Jack Brabham called Bartram?
Good photography, but I wish it had been the 1961 race. There are movies of that, but not such good quality.

Stunning footage considering it was filmed nearly 60 years ago!!!!!

Superb camera angles, the director was at the top of his game, made me feel I was born too late :(

What was the open top camera vehicle in the opening sequence?

I think the camera car is probably a 300SLR (Roadster), due to camera mounts in those days. Usually
big and bulky and required open cars.

The Roadster was still 300SL. 300SLR was the Racing sports car, W196.
