I've got eight of these valves, or jets, that came to me in a cache of parts. They come in a
small, roughly 2 inches by 3 inches, envelope printed for D &G Valve Mfg, no longer in
business. The ink stamped part says 'Weber 505 .084'
The valve / jet is 1 3/4" and comes with 2 washers. Some research indicates this might
be for some downdraft Weber but I'm hoping someone in our community can identify
this.

I've used Grose valves when I was in the US, but of the shorter kind. These look quite similar to Type 504 (rather than 505?) then would fit IDA 3BBL carbs (2 per carb) :

Grose-Jet: "2 balls do the trick!" That was the ad in Road & Track way back when I was a pre-teen and thought it was hilarious.

I love the sound of a torque wrench in the morning. Sounds like... progress.

Interesting, I have used Grose-Jet replacements for float chamber needle valves in Weber carbs for quite some time. The valves you have are certainly not for DCOEs. The post from nmauduit seems to provide the answer.
