In praise of the Plus 2

Hi there, Wondered whether this may be of interest - gives me the encouragement to finish my S130 over the winter season. (Mind you, said that last winter........)
Wouldn't mind sharing the garage with the Marcos and the Volvo as well !

That link does not work for me, Martin. It just takes me to my own Hotmail/Outlook account.

Ah, sorry about that. I took the link from my Hotmail/Outlook page - I get a weekly newsletter from Classic andSportsCar.Don't think that I can post a useful link.....
In summary, the Plus 2 came out on top of a "GT for under half the price of an E Type"; fought off competition from a wide range of candidates from Alfa and Marcos to Lancia and Facel.

I don't know about the UK, but over here in The States less than half what an E-Type sells for can still mean a big chunk of cash so that means a fairly wide field of possibilities. Still, good to know that the Plus 2 gets such high regard and that makes me want even more to be driving mine.
