Channel 4 20:30 Mission Ignition. Competition between two teams, one building Elan S2 and other a 944. Both from pile of parts and without instructions; first to start engine keeps car. FWIW

Sorry guys, how was I to know they were using the 1990 model. I suppose the other car being a 944 was a clue.

Quite a disappointing programme but at least the ladies team had a smart looking 26R making a cameo appearance.

I recorded the first episode, then glazed over within 60 seconds of watching it.... very poor

I've got a tin of vinyl silk emulsion in the shed I've not opened yet must get around to opening it...
Mind you, having said that there will be a Twink motor featured..if anyone knows when/which episode , it will save me a lot of time watching the emulsion dry...
