Looks like it's been designed by a computer!

Personally I think it looks stunning and that's coming from a total ICE purist :D

If it informs the new design direction going foward I think Lotus may be on to a winner.

I'm hankering after a modern Lotus (not this one!!) after driving a friend's Exige 350 Sport last weekend - what an awesome machine. My other half has authorised a used Evora so a tentative search has begun before we're both too old to enjoy one.

Not sure what that means, I think you're implying lack of styling or emotion, I would have to disagree, I think it looks stunning.

Unfortunately it's out of my price range!

It looks fantastic - however if production is indeed limited to 130 and the car is to make a profit the price will also be fantastic.
Might make a Veyron look cheap!

I believe Matty Rimac had allot to do with the electrics so i expect it to be similar to the Rimac C2.

I think i'd say it's stunning too, only thing i'm not keen on is the rear lights.

He did say radiators and intercoolers (and engine - corrected)
He's probably correct because there will be heat to dissipate from batteries, motors, aircon?
The rear lights probably won't survive to production - certainly the illuminated name as white lights to the rear are a no-no.
The door motors will definitely need beefing up as well.
It doesn't need luggage space because I don't suppose it'll have the range to be much more than a bus ride back to where you came from when the batteries go flat. Well not if you indulge in 0-300k in 9 seconds acceleration rates more than a couple of times!
I rather like the expression - negative space, whatever that is.
Anyway I look forward to seeing footage of one in real life

He's regurgitating what the Lotus PR guys have told him.

As with all these things the low quantity hypercar are stupid money to cover the R&D costs etc but the tech will filter down in much the same way Mclaren did with the P1.

All it will take is some one to make a power source like a hydrogen fuel cell safe / practical and electric cars will take over the world.

What a stunning machine! For sure it's out of reach for most mortals, but the concepts and shape can transfer to something that may have a little less than 2000 bhp, if we can put up with that.

It really is a step change and great to see something that is a challenge to the amazing Tesla Coupe. Of course, it also a blueprint for the Chinese automotive industry to have more 'influence'.....i.e., dominate the industry!

I fear I may come over a bit churlish.
I like the look and idea of the car and hope it makes the planned production.
