Hi all, I have now got an Elan S4 '68 FHC, which will be totally rebuilt when funds allow. I have a '70 +2s which I use most days. I'm trying to locate another local S4 to use as a source of reference to look at locations, fittings etc. If anyone has a car & is willing to let me look & take pictures that would be great. I'm between Gloucester and Ross-on-Wye if that's any use to you. I have a very original S4 convertible which has never been taken apart. You're welcome to come and take some pics. It sits alongside an S3 Coupe which will have some similar bits in the Coupe department to your S4.

What state is your S4 at present?

Is it roadworthy? If so drive it around a bit before you take it to bits.

Would love to take it for a spin, but it may be a while! Was taken off the road 34 years ago, most parts in boxes & a few missing. The jigsaw begins! Engine & gearbox is now out, starting to make lists of parts & jobs.
