New member after a Plus 2

As my name suggest for many years I have owned and restored quite a number of Ginettas and run the local owners club region. I have always loved Elans too which are similar in many ways but as I now have two boys under 6, I need a sporty grp classic car they can fit in the back. Hopefully a Plus 2 with rear belts should accommodate all 4 of us to car events for some years. Now all I have to do is find one of course.
Ginettas are just about all unique and often modified, modernised and improved so I don't mind a modified +2 either especially to improve LOTUS reliability. Have done a bit of reading its seem many have improved Chassis and drive trains and I'm getting an idea if the common mods.
If any of you live near York I'd love to meet up and see your cars and have a chat about the model. My boys would love to try one for size in the back too of course. Harvey

Hi
there is one for sale at the next Brightwell's auction.
http://classiccars.brightwells.com/view ... hp?id=3815
I looked at this car earlier this year, but there were one or two things that put me off.
However, a local garage, who specialise in classics bought it, and I would think that they have resolved those issues.
May be worth a look.
Good luck.

Harvey,
As theelanman says NYLOC meet at Buckles on the fourth Tuesday of the month. You'll be made welcome, The nights are drawing in a bit now so don't leave it too late.
I've sent you a pm.
Cheers
John

I know Buckles well as lived very close for a while. Have seen the white auction car plus a couple on ebay but not keen on auctions as there is usually a reason why the cant be sold the normal way! How do I remember the 4th Tuesday? I'll try anyway. Also have a few other options for 4 seats but not many interesting ones like the plus 2. Harvey
