New member here, longtime lurker, even longer Elan owner and enthusiast.
I acquired my 1966 Elan S2 in 1990, knowing practically nothing about Elans other than what I'd seen on "The Avengers". That dates me right there.
The Elan was my daily driver for many years, going back and forth to work rain or shine. There have been occasional track days and many club events. I belonged to The Golden Gate Lotus Club until recently.
I have learned a great deal from this forum, it's a fantastic resource and also a form of entertainment that I greatly appreciate.
