Hello Everyone,

This is just a few lines to introduce myself to the community, I have had an Elan Plus 2 for over 25 years.
Unfortunately it's been off the road for most of them, about the last 15 years with a ceased engine.

I recently retired and started to investigate the ceased engine which was initially caused by a bent conrod.
All stripped down now and having a long think about what to do going forward, I wasn't too keen on the engine
re-build quote of £8500.

I'll upload a couple of pictures of it when it was on the road.

Interesting colour scheme! Very trendy back in the late 60s, I recall. You probably need to shop around for the engine rebuild. Make sure it is someone who knows twin cams, though.
