Hi Anna,
It doesn't look like many people from the UK are going. I had hoped to make a bit of a social occasion of it! I will be going with my brother in my +2 and staying at the intercity Speyer. This is the first long trip I have planned since buying the car six years and a lot of money ago. It would be nice to meet up if possible.
Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris,
I know that at least 12 UK Lotus owners (sorry have no names) have pre-booked tickets. Others may buy them at the track. So you won't be the only Brit's there!

28th to 30th April.
Perhaps Hockenheim is just a bit further than most Lotus owners in the UK want to go!

I've been round Hockenheim twice, once on the original circuit, and more recently on the short circuit. Travelling from Ireland on the MSAEuroclassic. Would not be my favourite track for driving an Elan. Nurburgring is hard to beat (On a weekday, when there are not so many suicide bikers about )

The Jim Clark revival meeting, including a "Lotus Festival" will be taking place on 27th to 30th April.
For further details check out my posts on the subject in the archives.
All the best.

John & Chris,

Many thanks for this. I think I may have a problem persuading "the management"!
