It was a very hot day.

I was a bit dissapointed with the Club Lotus turn out.

Matt you have done a great job on yours in such a small space of time.

Si did you get home or spend the night on Matt's floor? :D

Here's a few more at the "Club lotus" parking area;

Most of the other car clubs had a big tent or similar and some flags representing the marque. There was nothing to identify the Club Lotus area, the only clue being a number of Lotus parked up.

I did not know that Club Lotus were going to have a presence at this event so I had already booked with the Grand Touring Club who did a nice job with a breakfast meet and scenic run in to the circuit. I have just checked the Club Lotus web site and there is no mention of the Silverstne event.

I am sure Alan Morgan is a nice chap but at the moment Club Lotus has a long way to go to catch up with other marque clubs.

Well said Steve

Sorry I didn't get time to pop over to see your elan, the time just went so fast :(

It's a shame lotus club members were being told there was no more Lotus parking as there was space for at least 15 more cars !

All though our picnic took up two spaces :twisted:

It was a great day out :)

Jason, no its a long long story :!:

I did the Retro run as well (see last picture)...

Also spotted one of the first Loti and (yes I know this is sad!) proof of the source of the front bumper and air intake surreound trim (the Anglia grill surround is cut, reduced in width and inverted to fit below the bumper on the +2).
