Friendly MoT stations

OK- posted elsewhere but for info - no connection whatsoever but for the past 12 or so years I've used a firm called Mike Allen for MoT tests. Fair and sensible- definitely won't issue a pass if the fault is safety related. Located on Belmont Rod Industrial Estate, Liverpool. Used to service the cars on the set of Brookside for many years and every year Norman Wisdom, who lived on the Isle of Man used to bring his Rolls Royce to them for its annual MoT. Don't employ any "kids" in the garage who ask "Wot'll it do mister?"
