As, thanks to Rohan, I've discovered there are errors in the Official Manual -
lotus-electrical-f38/ignition-advance-t41071.htmlAre there any other known issues?

Search Techical Bulletins in the Wiki - there seem to be quite a few corrections in them.

When I was setting up the front suspension on my +2 in 1986 the measurements made no sense, finally found that they had just used the Elan measurements instead. It could have been corrected in later +2 manuals.
