Malcolm Rickett's open day Saturday 18 Aug 2018

From Club Lotus News...

Noon till 18:00 at Ricketts Racing Workshop Lamer Lane, Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire AL4 8RG

Malcolm?s annual Workshop Open Day this year will be from 12.00 to 18.00 on Saturday August 18th. The venue is Malcolm?s race workshop in Lamer Lane, Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire, AL4 8RG and as usual there?ll be some special historic Lotus road and racing cars on display and Malcolm will also be displaying a ?Mystery Lotus? that?s only been seen in public twice in the last 20 years. Malcolm and his wife Jill are great hosts and as usual will provide a BBQ and drinks in exchange for a donation to their local charity The Isabel Hospice. Following last year?s record attendance Malcolm has further improved and extended the parking area. This is always a lovely summer gathering amongst new and old Lotus friends; everyone?s welcome, including guests, so just come along from around midday and enjoy yourself.

I do not easily remember or recognise faces, so I am unlikely to remember forum members. If you see me please reintroduce yourself to me.

Here's a photo of me at a previous open day sitting on Jim Clark's elan,
my own Elan coupe has a unique colour scheme of Yellow upper, Black lower. I usually manage a privileged spot inside Malcolm's yard because Malcolm was the first owner of my Elan.
