I will be making the trek over the Atlantic next month to attend the Goodwood Revival. Any of the local Elan Faithful attending?

My father and I had this trip planned back in 2001 but the tragic events of 9/11 thwarted our plans.

This time it's me and by bride of 40 years.

Perhaps we will meet some kindred spirits during our stay.

If you are in the area, don't forget the cricket match on the Thursday afternoon on the lawns in front of Goodwood house.

I will be there with my wife Betty - been looking forward to this for years! Really hope we can meet up and put faces to the names we have come to know so well from the website over the years. Hope you all have have some suitable period attire arranged.

We have squares too, mostly people who drive Chevrolets and Fords. And here in New England, that's the place in the center of town where we put the stocks. In my home town, it was a triangle, but that did not affect the name.

I'll be there for the 3 days and parked on the Lavant Bank and I'm contactable on 07788 593388.

If people want to meet up we could arrange a time and place in one of the non-exclusive paddocks with the saloon cars where any Elans/Elites/Cortinas will be lurking.

I won't be going to Goodwood as I am off to Spa for the classic 6 hour race weekend. Plenty of Elans there unlike Goodwood.

As Dave says, no Elans on the entry list ( unless I missed one).

Sadly my planned participation this weekend at the Lime Rock Historic races was abandoned because of illness. Doc says with meds I'll be ready for Wednesday travel to the UK. First Lime Rock Historic missed in 15 years.
